✦ Breath Grounding — Ritual of Anchor ✦

A brief practice to return the body to the present and feel the thread of the earth beneath you.

Step 1 — Settle: Sit upright, feet planted. Hands on your knees, shoulders soft. Close your eyes if it helps.
Step 2 — Breath (4-4-6): inhale gently for 4 counts; hold for 4; exhale slowly for 6. Repeat 6 times. Notice each exhale drawing you deeper into the ground.
Step 3 — The Thread: imagine a thin, strong thread starting at your tailbone — your balancing pole. With every inhale it tightens; with every exhale it steadies you.
Step 4 — Body sweep: quickly scan feet → legs → hips → belly → chest → neck. On each out-breath soften any tension like letting go of an old cloth.
Short meditation (30–60s): visualize amber light flowing through the thread — warming, cleansing, anchoring. Whisper in your mind: “I stand on my thread. I am here, I am enough.” Open eyes gently.
